Our foundation believes strongly in the power of education and the cycle of knowledge and experience between all generations. Through the lifelong learning of modern adults, we give back to the youth of our community to assist them with community college tuition when in need. We believe that an education should never be disrupted solely due to economic difficulty.
Where do donations, or tuition payments go? We operate on a simple philosophy that all of the tuition payments, are given out in scholarships by January of the following year. All gifted donations, fund the foundation, so that 5% of the foundation funds are given in scholarships in January of the following year.
Wait, “so how do you pay to run this program?” This is a great question! The answer is simple: all of the talent that run this program are volunteers. They give their time, money, and professional services free of charge to the Foundation. Secondly, all instructors volunteer their time and experience to the Foundation for the betterment of our community, not for a payment. Lastly, expenses for logistics (technology, websites, phone, etc.) are paid by individuals donating those costs. They are not paid by the foundation.
When modern adults engage in learning, they pave the way for young adults to progress in their educational journeys. Our youth represent the future, and it is our goal to help them shine as brightly as possible.
