Charlene Hotaling
Director
Charlene is a Sr Vice President, Commercial Banking Manager for Seacoast Bank. A graduate of the University of Phoenix with a business management degree, Charlene held a Series 6 and a life insurance license. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in operations management, branch management, mergers and acquisitions, business development, commercial and consumer underwriting as well as retail and commercial lending.
A graduate of Leadership Winter Park Class XXIII, OCBA Leadership Law, Leadership Orlando Class 101, and Political Leadership, Charlene is passionate about making a difference in her community. She is currently serving on the Winter Park Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee, the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Board, The Gardens at Depugh Board and Welbourne Day Nursery Board. She is past Chairman of the board of directors for the Winter Park Chamber’s Board of Directors and the Mead Botanical Gardens Board of Trustees. Charlene was voted into the 2019 Most Influentials of Winter Park by Winter Park magazine. In the past, she has served as co-chair of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Taser Task Force commission as well as a Winter Park Pop Warner board member and coach. Charlene has also been involved with the American Heart Association, Community Based Care of Central Florida, Junior Achievement and the Women of Distinction Committee for the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.
Charlene has been married to her husband John for 25+ years and has two adult children that make her very proud.
Dana Richmond
Director
Dana Richmond is a financial professional known for her strategic approach and creative, client-centered solutions. She believes that finance is deeply personal—even in business—and works closely with clients to develop clear, customized strategies that reflect their goals. Dana is licensed in Florida and holds Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, offering a wide range of services and collaborating with tax and legal professionals to deliver comprehensive financial guidance.
Dana is passionate about empowering women entrepreneurs and is an active member of the Central Florida Collaborative Divorce group, where she supports individuals and families through financial transitions with clarity and care. She also serves as a Director of the Winter Park Lifelong Learning Foundation, helping provide educational opportunities for modern adults while empowering younger generations to pursue higher learning.
Before entering finance, Dana spent 14 years in Global Sales at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, building long-term relationships and generating multimillion-dollar revenue growth across the country. She earned her B.S. from the University of Central Florida and now lives in Orlando with her husband, their daughters Norah and Ava, and their Goldendoodle, Biscuit. Outside of the office, Dana enjoys tennis, dancing, dining out, and always has her bags packed for the next adventure.
Daniel Zagata
Director
Dan Zagata is a Managing Partner of Evershore Financial Group and a Founder and Director of the Winter Park Lifelong Learning Foundation. With over 25 years of experience, he has helped professionals, businesses, and non-profits achieve their financial goals. He earned a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Bentley University, and later a Doctor of Business Administration in Finance and Risk Management from the International School of Management in Paris. He also holds a graduate certificate in Financial Planning from the University of Miami and holds the CFP®, ChFC, CLU, and AIF® designations.
Dan believes everyone deserves judgment-free, personalized advice. Money isn’t everything, but understanding it is key to reducing stress and reaching your goals. His belief in the power of education has led him to teach financial topics at Rollins College, Stetson University, the Celebration Foundation, and his alma mater. It has also led him to serve as a Director of the Winter Park Lifelong Learning Foundation, helping to empower lifelong learning for all generations.
As a member of the Central Florida Collaborative Divorce Group, he also provides thoughtful, compassionate financial guidance to families navigating these complex transitions.
Kimberly Santos
Administrator
Kimberly supports Dana and Dan in their roles as financial advisors, while also serving as the administrator for Winter Park Lifelong Learning Foundation. She is passionate about helping others and bringing meaningful programs to life.
Peggy Smith-Clayman
Director of Programs
Peggy retired from Rollins College in 2021 after 28 years of dedicated service. Rollins College Lifelong Learning program started in 2013 and Peggy was the original heartbeat of that program. Her passion has always been education and connecting people with common interests.
