 Cynthia Lait is a certified teacher of Guided Autobiography from The Birren Institute for Autobiographical Studies .  She worked in a corporate environment for over forty years before moving into coaching, with a Professional Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation. Anderson previously held senior leadership roles at Seattle's National Nordic Museum, was the Curator at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, University of Utah, and she taught undergraduate art history courses at the Brooklyn College, Parsons School of Design, Saint Leo University, and Indiana University Indianapolis. A former Fulbright Scholar and American-Scandinavian Foundation Fellow, she holds graduate degrees in art history from the CUNY Graduate Center and the University of Florida, and an MBA from Emory University.

 Stacey is a Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney, a distinction representing the highest level of expertise, professionalism, and ethics in her field. She focuses her practice on estate planning, special needs planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship, and Medicaid planning. She is also an Accredited Veterans Claim

A Florida native, Stacey grew up in Miami and moved to Orlando to attend the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. She received her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Barry University School of Law in 2016.

Stacey is a compassionate advocate dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate estate planning and elder law matters.

 Ali is the Executive Director of the Winter Park Day Nursery, a nonprofit preschool serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. She joined in 2005 and has served as Executive Director since 2011. Ali holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado and a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College, along with a certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy. She also holds an Advanced Level Florida Child Care Director Credential.

She is actively involved in the Central Florida community, serving on the Education Committee for the League of Women Voters and as President Elect of the Rotary Club of Winter Park. Ali lives with her husband, Geoff, and their son, Dillon.

Annalise Pforr is a current PhD student at the University of Central Florida, where she focuses on early medieval Byzantine archaeology in central Anatolia. Her research interests lie in the intersection of anthropology, material culture, geospatial archaeology, and digital technologies, with a focus on using digital humanity and geospatial methods to increase the accessibility of threatened material culture and cultural heritage.

As President and CEO of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce, she has steered the organization toward unprecedented heights. Under her guidance focusing on innovation, the Chamber achieved the prestigious Chamber Innovation Grand Prize award for North America within the first two years of her tenure, and a Top 3 National Chamber of the Year in 2023, during the Chamber’s Centennial year.

  Dr. Carl Creasman has been Professor of History at Valencia College since 2002, the Chair for the discipline on the East Campus since 2009. His focus of study is Revolutionary Europe, from the Renaissance through the French Revolution, or as he often says focusing his scholarship on "how societies morph and change over time."  Dr. Creasman also has degrees in Psychology, Theology, Bible, and most recently completed his Doctorate in Ministry in Semiotics, Church, and Culture.

Dr. Christina Risner is a lifelong learner that has a passion for anatomy and optimizing movement to improve the human experience. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy that specialized in orthopedics and therapeutic exercise. She currently works in clinical research for Stryker and moonlights as an adjunct professor at AdventHealth University teaching anatomy & physiology and medical terminology.

 Christy is the Executive Director of the Winter Park Historical Association. Originally from Tampa, she earned a degree in Sociology and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh before returning to Central Florida.

After a career in event planning and her family’s printing business, she followed her passion for local history, joining the Winter Park History Museum and becoming Executive Director in 2020.

Christy serves on several local boards and was named one of Winter Park Magazine’s Most Influential People in 2021. She is also a photographer with a passion for capturing everyday moments.

 Daniel J. Turk is a counselor, educator, and writer with more than twenty years of experience teaching and presenting across schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. A lifelong Floridian, he has combined his background in education with his passion for local history and storytelling to explore the fascinating world of Walt Disney World. From the earliest days of Walt Disney’s Florida Project to the quirky, forgotten attractions of the 1980s and 90s, Dan brings to life the hidden stories that shaped the Vacation Kingdom of the World. He is also a ride share driver where he serves as an Orlando city ambassador, giving him a unique, ground-level perspective on the evolving culture of Central Florida tourism.

 Dr. Daniel Galante is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon specializing in advanced, minimally invasive approaches to colorectal care. His expertise includes robotic, laparoscopic, and TAMIS techniques for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer. He also provides comprehensive surgical care for patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and common anorectal conditions such as hemorrhoids, fistulas, and perianal abscesses.

Recognized as a 2024 Premier Doctors honoree in Colon and Rectal Surgery, Dr. Galante is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care grounded in clinical excellence. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and was awarded the Gershon Efron, MD Resident of the Year Award for his dedication to patient safety, leadership, and teamwork.

Elaine Person is a writer, instructor, editor, speaker, performer, and photographer whose work has appeared in numerous publications and anthologies, including A Century of College Humor. She is a co-editor of the Florida State Poets Association’s annual anthology and an award-winning writer, with honors from the Saturday Evening Post, the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, and the Florida State Poets Association.

Elaine performs a one-woman show, Humor in a Hurried and Harried World, writes personalized poems and stories, and teaches writing workshops. She received the 2022 Florida Writers Association Kaye Coppersmith Award for Writers Helping Writers and joined the Crealdé faculty in 2022.

 My fitness journey began at age 16 and has continued for over 40 years. While balancing school and multiple jobs, I pursued training in martial arts and other fitness disciplines.

After starting a graphics and drafting business to fund my goal, I moved to Florida and went on to co-own two wellness and martial arts schools. Today, I focus on teaching, speaking at wellness events, and writing books and study guides, with an emphasis on the value and impact of training in everyday life.

 Krista Shirley is a Level II Authorized Ashtanga Yoga teacher, Pilates instructor, and wellness educator with over 22 years of experience. She is the founder of The Yoga Shala in Maitland, Florida, where she has taught since 2009.

After a serious nerve injury in 2019, Krista turned to neuroscience, somatic awareness, and functional movement to rebuild her strength, ultimately developing her Body Mechanics Method. This approach blends yoga with biomechanics and neuroplasticity to help reduce pain, restore function, and improve movement.

Today, she shares her method through classes, workshops, and retreats, helping others build resilience and move with greater ease.

Lezlie Laws is a lifelong learner with over five decades devoted to wisdom traditions, psychology, literature, yoga, and meditation. She taught literature and creative writing at the University of Missouri and Rollins College before retiring in 2013 to develop the LifeArt curriculum focused on self-discovery and purpose.

She holds a PhD, is a 500-RYT Ashtanga yoga teacher, and has studied with Beryl Bender Birch for over 20 years. In 2022, she earned a second meditation teaching certification through Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield’s program.

Lezlie focuses on meditation, offering courses and workshops through the Orlando Insight Meditation Group to help others build meaningful practices.

 Meryl has been an artist all her life, skillfully drawing from an early age.  Her earliest career was in computer graphics on some of the very earliest computers.  Escaping the corporate world after many years, she backpacked through the South Pacific and painted a mural in a backpacker stay in New Zealand.  This planted the seed for her new, Meryl's Murals decorative painting/mural business shortly after returning to Boston.  After Meryl and her husband Bill moved to Celebration, Florida in 2005, she ran the Celebration Art and Wine strolls for many years.  She has taught art classes in many mediums.  Meryl draws portraits of people and animals on commission, as well as her unique, 3D animal sculptures that hang on walls.

Michael Szalma is a Professor of History at Valencia College, specializing in American history. He is also a retired Army officer, with service in Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His twenty years in the Army can be summarized in five words: tanks, horses, teacher, helicopter, pilot. He is married and has three children.

 Paul Dunlap has an MA in Film & TV. He’s worked as a Producer, Director, Cameraman, and Editor for PBS, ABC, CBS and as a BBC Corporate Communications Trainer. Paul’s been playing with cars since he was a kid. He owns a 1958 Edsel Pacer Convertible and is a member of The Edsel Owners Club, International Edsel Club, Florida Edsel Club and is currently the VP of the Central Florida Edsel Club.

Dr. Radhika Smith

Dr. Radhika Smith is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon dedicated to the comprehensive treatment of diseases affecting the colon, rectum, and anus. She earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri, completed her general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, and pursued a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida.

Recognized as a 2025 Top Doctor in Colon & Rectal Surgery, Dr. Smith combines clinical excellence with a strong commitment to education and professional standards. She has served as an assistant professor at Washington University School of Medicine, received multiple teaching awards, and contributed to the field as an examiner and question writer for the colorectal surgery board examinations.

 Until its sale in December 2021, Baldwin served as shareholder and CEO of Baldwin Brothers Memorial Care Services, leading the company from 2013 and overseeing 19 locations that served nearly 19,500 families annually across Florida.

He remains actively involved in the community, serving as CEO of the nonprofit Gardens at DePugh Skilled Nursing Center, and holding leadership and advisory roles with the Welbourne Nursery & Preschool, University of Central Florida College of Business, Winter Park Historical Association, Bach Festival Society, and the Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation.

 Steve is a lifelong Central Florida resident who began his career in chemistry before working as a forensic scientist, where he developed a passion for technology and helped build early computer-based crime analysis systems.

He went on to a 30-year career as a software engineer and architect at Oracle. Now semi-retired, Steve focuses on artificial intelligence, helping others understand and use it as a practical tool. He is also collaborating on an AI application designed to help individuals achieve their full potential through a mind, body, and spirit approach.
