Charlene Hotaling
Charlene is a Sr Vice President, Commercial Banking Manager for Seacoast Bank. A graduate of the University of Phoenix with a business management degree, Charlene held a Series 6 and a life insurance license. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in operations management, branch management, mergers and acquisitions, business development, commercial and consumer underwriting as well as retail and commercial lending.
A graduate of Leadership Winter Park Class XXIII, OCBA Leadership Law, Leadership Orlando Class 101, and Political Leadership, Charlene is passionate about making a difference in her community. She is currently serving on the Winter Park Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee, The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Board, The Gardens at Depugh Board and Welbourne Day Nursery Board. She is past Chairman of the board of directors for the Winter Park Chamber’s Board of Directors and the Mead Botanical Gardens Board of Trustees. Charlene was voted into the 2019 most influentials of Winter Park by Winter Park magazine. In the past, she has served as co-chair of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Taser Task Force commission as well as a Winter Park Pop Warner board member and coach. Charlene has also been involved with the American Heart Association, Community Based Care of Central Florida, Junior Achievement and the Women of Distinction Committee for the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council.
Charlene has been married to her husband John for 25+ years and has two adult children that make her very proud.
Dana Richmond
Dana Richmond is a financial advisor at Evershore Financial Group, an independent, comprehensive financial services firm. Dana sees financial planning as a deeply personal relationship. Beyond health and family, understanding your finances and making great financial choices is paramount to each person’s idea of success. Dana is a past graduate of Leadership Winter Park through the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and earned her BS at University of Central Florida. She then moved all over the country in the early part of her career. When not working, Dana loves to play tennis, dance, and be outside enjoying the Florida sunshine. Dana is married to her husband, Shawn, and they live in Audubon Park near Leu Gardens. They enjoy weekend outings to the latest restaurants and also their family time with their young daughters, Norah and Ava, and Biscuit, their Goldendoodle. Dana always has her bags packed and ready for the next adventure-- she loves to travel whenever possible.
Daniel Zagata
Dan Zagata is the Managing Director of Evershore Financial Group, an independent comprehensive financial services firm. Dan brings 21 years of experience working with professionals, businesses, and non-profits to help them realize their financial potential and goals. Dan earned a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Bentley University, Boston, and earned his DBA in Finance from the International School of Management, Paris, France. He also holds a graduate certificate of Financial Planning from University of Miami. In addition, he has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Financial Consultant designations from the American College and is a Chartered Life Underwriter.
Peggy Smith-Clayman
Director of Programs
Peggy retired from Rollins College in 2021 after 28 years of dedicated service. Rollins College Lifelong Learning program started in 2013 and Peggy was the original heartbeat of that program. Her passion has always been education and connecting people with common interests.
